Summer Camp

Yesterday I started working at a summer camp at the International School of Bologna where I have been interning. I work a full day working in the "Writers Workshop" with 7 and 8 years olds.  There is also the "Kindy Club" with kids from 4-6 years of age.  So far its been a blast. We play tennis, do crafts, make snacks and do a little bit of English writing.  The kids love it and so do I.  The only downfall to this entire camp is that there is no air conditioning at all.  It was 93 degrees today.  I was dying.  And after I didn't get to come home to a nice air conditioned house.  I have none here. It was just as hot, if not more, inside my apartment.  So needless to say I have been walking around in booty shorts and tank tops to try and beat the heat.  I am jealous that my roommates can walk around in their underwear.  I guess there are sometimes that I do wish I was a boy.  But back to camp, here are some pictures of my little kiddies!

Ieri ho cominciato a lavorare in un campo estivo per l'international school.  Lavoro con i ragazzi da 7 a 9 anni in "Writer's Workshop".  C'è anche "Kindy Club" con bimbi da 4 a 6 anni.  È stato molto divertente fino adesso.  Giochiamo tennis, facciamo arte, magiamo merende, e un po' di lezioni inglese.  I bimbi si divertono molto.  L'unica cosa che non mi piace è che non c'è aria condizionata.  Oggi è stato quasi 34 gradi.  Stavo per morire.  E dopo, non sono ritornata a casa con l'aria condizionata.  Non esiste a casa mia.  È quasi la stessa fuori che dentra la casa. Mi vesto in meno vestiti possibile in una casa di uomini.  Sono gelosa dei miei coinquilini che girano in mutande.  In questo caldo vorrei fare lo stesso.  Ritorna al campo estivo.  Ecco alcune foto dei bimbi!
