Yesterday I met Lauren and some of our friends at a beautiful park near San Luca called Villa Spada. It was Lauren's birthday earlier this week and she wanted to celebrate outside and have a picnic. It was gorgeous. I had no idea that the park was so pretty. I knew it was there because I get picked up from the entrance for the people I tutor for but I had never ventured inside. Now I know I will be back. We ate potato salad, chocolate chip cookie bars and drank punch on the hillside. It was great. Good food. Good conversation. Good friends.
Ieri sono andata a Villa Spada, vicino a San Luca, per fare un picnic con Lauren e i nostri amici. Il martedì scorso è stato il compleano di Lauren e lei voleva fare un picnic in montagna. È stato bellisssimo. Non sapevo che il giardini sono così belli. Sapevo della loro esistenza perché quando vado a far tutor, la famiglia viene a prendermi all'ingresso del giardini ma non sono mai stata dentro. Adesso, ritorno là di sicuro. Buon cibo e belle conversazioni con gli amici.
