Mom and Grandma are here!

This weekend I went to Cinque Terre with my mom and my grandma who came to visit me from the United States for a little over a week.  I am very happy and pleased that they are here with me.  It has been over seven months since I have seen my family.  Two years ago when my mom visited me in Italy we ran through it and saw Milan, Venice, Florence, Pisa, Genoa and Turin.  This time, though, she wanted to have a calm  relaxing vacation with my Grandma.  So we are drinking coffee, wine and limoncello, eating pesto, pasta, pizza and gelato e taking slow strolls through the city.  Without a rush.  They really like Bologna a lot, except for all the graffiti.  My grandma is learning some Italian and my mom has remembered a little from her first trip.  They are here for four more days but that is not enough for me!  We have already had an amazing time in these few days and have entertained ourselves a lot.  My grandma went into the mens bathroom without realizing it.  We have been getting drunk at almost every lunch and dinner on Italian wine. And we are spending too much money on things that we don’t need! 

Questo weekend, sono andata a Cinque Terre con mia mamma e mia nonna che sono venute dagli stati uniti per trovarmi per una settimana.  Sono molto contenta e felice che loro stanno qui con me. Sono passati sette mesi senza vedere la mia famiglia. Due anni fa quando mia mamma è venuta in Italia per una vacanza abbiamo attraversato velocemente l’Italia in un giro da Milano a Venezia, Firenze, Pisa, Genoa, e Torino.  Questa volta, invece, lei voleva fare una vacanza tranquilla con mia nonna.  Quindi, stiamo bevendo caffè, vino e limoncino, mangiando pesto, pasta, pizza e gelato, e facendo  giri lentamente nella città.  Senza fretta.  A loro piace Bologna molto a parte i graffiti.  Mia nonna sta imparando un po’ d’italiano e mia mamma si è ricordata un po’ dal primo giro in Italia.  Loro sono a Bologna per quattro giorni di più ma per me, non è abbastanza.  Ci siamo divertite durante questi primi giorni.  Mia nonna è andata in bagno maschile senza saperlo.  Ci ubriachiamo durante quasi ogni pranzo e cena a causa del vino.  E spendiamo troppi soldi comprando cose di cui non ne abbiamo bisogno!
